Abstract

This review has studied the importance of PET/CT in assessment of pediatric lymphoma. Fortunately, HD and NHL are among the few malignancies that are potentially curable so early diagnosis is important. Many conventional diagnostic imaging modalities were performed but they have limitations and result in a reduced sensitivity of lesion detection. PET/CT has become the standard imaging modality for initial staging, follow-up and treatment response assessment in patients with lymphoma.
