Abstract

The role of MDCT with two dimensional and three dimensional imaging of the large airways with virtual bronchoscopy and minimum intensity projection technique in non invasive assessment of adult patients with a variety of airway pathologies as tracheobronchial stenoses, tracheal and bronchial neoplasms, tracheobronchomalacia and bronchiectasis. With advances of virtual bronchoscopy is now an important imaging tool to visualise areas inaccessible to the flexible bronchoscope and to evaluate extraluminal pathology.
