Flap ischaemia after abdominoplasty is a very serious complication we tried to study relation between subclinical flap ischemia and the development of post abdominoplasty seroma on randomized postoperative study on 9 patients suing laser Doppler and oxygen-tension on skin of supra umbilical region transposed done on one week and 3 weeks respectively to assess-changes in vascularity in relation to pre-operative study provisional evidence was that there is tendency for increase in postoperative laser Doppler flux in all cases and tendency to an associated decrease in TCPO2 at the end of first week in abdominoplasty cases only.
