Abstract

The aim of this study is to discus different complications of IOLs implant & lines of management of these complications. Phakic IOLs are recent advance in refractive surgery that evolved its Specific complications, management of these complications is mandatory for ophthalmic surgeons.Many complications are associated with IOL Implantation for e.g :(a) IOL decentration & dislocation is a common complication nowadays. (b) Opacification of lens. c) Capsular opacity. d) Different types of glaucoma. e) Corneal complications. t) Complications of prosthetic IOL implantation Primary IOL implantation in infant's complications is associated with many complications, IOL implantation in pediatric age groups has its special hazards, namely change of IOL power with age with growing of the eye (myopic shift), fibrinous uveities & amblyopia & opacification of IOL.
