Abstract

Acute leukemia, Most common childhood cancer, classified into ALL (70-80%) & AML (20%).recent trial proved that treatment with risk-adjusted paradigm improve event free survival inALL to 80% & in AML to 50%however more effort still needed,and novel treatment still under investigation.Prodhylactic cranial irradiation can be omitted with new risk adjustad chemotherapy + intrathecal treatment.Stem cell transplantation can be saved for high risk patients.
