HS-CRP may be used to assess the severity of the disease and response to treatment. HS-CRP may be used as a systemic marker of inflammatory process that occurs in patients with asthma. HS-CRP level is recommended to be studied as a marker for development of exacerbation of asthma. HS-CRP level is recommended to be studied as follow up marker during treatment with ICS in stepwise management of asthma
