This study was done to compare two different modalities in management of hard cataract. The patients were divided into two groups: group A included 30 patients. Group B included another 30 patients. The results showed that two groove technique is effective in reducing the ultrasound time. It is also safe with low complication rate; however it has a long learning curve.
