Abstract

In this study, we present 22 cases with mid-hind brain anomalies. The aim of this work was delineation of clinico-radiological features and detection of chromosomal aberrations in these cases. The age of the studied cases ranged from one month to 8 years with mean age (2.12 years) and sex ratio was 11 males to 11 females (1:1), with no sex skewing. Parental consanguinity was present in 20 cases (90.9 %) and consanguinity in familial cases reached 100% the results showed that three out of 22 cases had chromosomal abnormalities (13 %).
