Abstract

Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) has a definite place in the management of peripheral arterial occlusive disease of the lower limb. It has widely accepted as a line of treatment for many patients with femoropopliteal disease. The low complications rate and relatively noninvasive nature of PTA has made it an increasing popular intervention. The ABI, pressure gradient and distal runoff status are predictors of success after femoropopliteal angioplasty
