Our aim is to evaluate the role of excision of keloid and postoperative electron beam irradiation. In our study 10 patients (10 males, 3 females) had their keloid excised with primary closure of the skin and electron beam irradiation was given starting within the first week, 6 MeV 1500 cGy/5 ttt every other day. The patients were followed up for 6 months, results were highly satisfactory. Only 2 patients showed hypertrophic scar yet they were satisfied.
