Extradural hematoma is a serious preventable complication of head injury, It is encountered in 2% of patients with head injuries and 5–15% of patients with fatal head injuries, From 56 patients with traumatic intracranial extradural hematoma, there was 23 patients underwent conservative treatment and 28 patients underwent surgical treatment and another 5 patients underwent surgical treatment after enlarging during conservative treatment.
