This is to evaluate the efficacy of ultrasonographic examination in comparison to histopathological examination as a reference in cases complaining of premenopausal bleeding. Patients and Methods: this study included 70 patients which where divided into 2 groups, study group (50 patients) and control group (20 patients). All patients were subjected to detailed history taking, general and local examination, ultrasonographic evaluation and D&C biopsy (study group only). Results: This study showed that there is no statistical correlation between ultrasound and D&C biopsy. Conclusion: The results showed that there was no significant statistical correlation found between the ultrasound and the histopathological examination done in patients complaining of premenopausal bleeding and the absence of abnormal data in the ultrasound does not exclude abnormal findings in the histopathological examination.
