Abstract

Hormonal profile did not differ significantly between patients suffering from metabolic syndrome with ED and patients suffering from metabolic syndrome without ED.There was definite deterioration of endothelial function in metabolic syndrome patients with ED than patients with metabolic syndrome alone, suggesting ED as a strong predictor for endothelial dysfunction independent of hormonal changes.
