In this essay, I tried to focus the light on the different types of radial head fractures in adults; their mechanism of injury, how to diagnose, associated injuries and different methods for treatment.I found that the most important step in dealing with these challenging fractures is the accurate diagnosis of the fracture pattern and the associated injuries. So, once we understand the hallmark of the fracture, it is easy to choose the appropriate method of treatment.
