Abstract
Arabic-speaking children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI) havebeen under-investigated when it comes to assessing their phonologicalawareness abilities and when providing them with a phonologicalawareness oriented therapy. The current work investigates Arabicspeakerswith SLI for their phonological awareness skills using a newlyadapted battery. The work also included devising a Metaphonologicaltherapy program and compares the improvement achieved by the childrenreceiving this therapy with the improvement achieved by applyingconventional Articulation Drill therapy and Minimal-Pair-Matchingtherapy.
