Abstract

Ultrasound biomicroscopy is a new non-invasive tool for diagnosis and follow up of angle closure glaucomas, either in research or clinical practice. It gives superior resolution in imaging angle structures compared to the conventional B-scan immersion technique. It scans the actual anatomical relationships of the anterior segment structures in-vivo. Finally, it allows serial observation and documentation of the treatment response.
