Abstract

Fibrinogen showed no correlation with maximum clot firmness (MCF) of FIBTEM and it was never abnormally high. No significant correlation was found between ROTEM and other standard laboratory tests in contrast PT and INR readings reflected a degree of hypocoagulability reaching maximum on first day when compared with baseline) respectively, but they were not associated with abnormally prolonged aPTT readings, clot time (CT) or clot formation time (CFT) parameters in ROTEM. CT and CFT of EXTEM were also not in statistic correlation with PT and INR .
