Abstract

This study was performed to demonstrate the histologicalchanges induced in the urinary bladder after estrogen depriuationusing an experimental menopause medel of OVX rat and also toexamine to what extent could estrogen replacement therapy correctsuch changes. Also , localization of ER-beta by immunohistochemicalmeans. We concluded that, estrogen deficiency causedurinary histological changes and estrogen supplementation correctthese changes through estrogen receptors – beta.
