Abstract

In this study, we describe a technique for percutaneous pinning of talar neck fractures. This technique, which uses 2 partially threaded cannulated screws. Either from anterior to posterior or from posterior to anterior, minimizes soft-tissue injury and blood-supply disruption and can shorten surgery. In addition, it allows for fracture compression and optimal positioning of screws, which increase the biomechanical stability of the fixation.
