Abstract

IMA harvesting, intraoperative blood transfusion , re-exploration & prolonged hospital stay are the most clinically & statistically significant factors followed by age & operative time related to deep rather than superficial stenotomy wound infection. obesity & male sex shows more importance in superficial rather than deep wound infection however this is not statistically significant, prolonged ICU stay & diabetes are related to deep rather than superficial wound infection with no statistical significans.
