Abstract

MALT lymphomas arise from a extranofal siesm most frequently from the gasrointestinal (GI) tract, in the setting of chronic local inflammatory of autoimmune disorders. Low-grade MALT lymphoma is usually a very infolent disease, often remaining localized for years with no treatment; systemic dissemination rarely occurs. Hence, Loco-regional therapy may conceiranbly be curative. There is also invreasing evidence that eradication of H. pylori can be the sole initial treatment for early stage disease.
