Abstract
Gastroesophageal reflux is one of the most common diseases of GIT system. Beside the typical presentation of GERD as heartburn and regurgitation, there are many varied and interesting laryngopharyngeal manifestation. This work aimed to prove that GERD is an important aetiological factor contributing to the laryngeal manifestation and this improve the quality of patients care. Forty patients presented to Otolaryngologic Outpatient Clinic by Laryngopharyngeal symptoms not responding to ordinary medical treatment they were investigated to detect the form of laryngeal affection and to detect the presence of GERD.
