Hypospadias, acommon congenital anomaly, is a result of incomplete formation of the urethra during the 10th to 14th weeks of gestational life. Its incidence estimated to be 1: 125 to 1: 300 live male births. Our study included 60 patients with hypospadias subdivided into two groups A and B. Group A included 30 patients and reconstructive surgery used was tubularized incised plate (Snodgrass). Group B included 30 patients and reconstructive surgery used was perimeatal based flap (Mathieu). On comparing the two groups, group A achieved better results as regard the complications rate and the cosmotic appearance.
