The aim of the present study was to assess the value of three-dimensional ultrasound in assessment of the endometrium in patients with postmenopausal bleeding as a diagnostic non invasive procedure and to compare the results with the results of the other different methods used in assessment of the endometrium of postmenopausal bleeding patients such as endometrial biopsy, dilatation and curettage, hysteroscopy, hysterosalpingography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and two- dimensional ultrasound.
