Abstract

The aim of this work is to evaluate the role of color-coded duplex ultrasonography in predication of adverse outcome of pregnancy induced hypertension. The study included 30 normotensive & 30 hypertensive pregnant women. Doppler examination of both uterine & umbilical arteries was done. It was found that the Doppler methods are useful in prediction of adverse outcome of pregnancy-induced hypertension. Specially if a persistent bilateral notch increased resistivity index of both uterine & umbilical arteries were coexisting.
