The nose is the most prominent aesthetic feature of the facial profile. A prospective study was designed to compare between different techniques for rotation of nasal tip ptosis and to show the outcome of each technique as regards cosmetic appearance, function and hazards. Forty patients with droopy tip were the material of this study. In the view of this study, the lateral crural overlay method increases tip rotation but decreases projection, while conservative trimming of the cephalic rim of lower lateral cartilage method provides minimal tip rotation without affecting the projection.
