Abstract

The number of patients undergoing percutaneous vascular catheterizations for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures has increased dramatically over the past few decades . while most iatrogenic blood vessel injuries are related to these procedures, a number of non vascular operative procedures are associated with sufficient risk of iatrogenic vascular injury.
