The cleft lip and/or palate considered the second most common congenital anomaly. The ideal operation for the repair of a unilateral cleft lip would result in a symmetrical upper lip with the philtral column length on either side equal. The scar should mirror to the opposite side. There should also be no peaking at the Cupid’s bow at the cleft side or notching of the vermilion. The most popular methods in primary unilateral cleft lip repair are Millard technique. The new techniques are finding receptive audiences. Cleft surgeons are also adopting adjunct procedures for cleft lip patients, particularly in correction of the residual unilateral cleft lip nasal deformity. In comparison between Millard, modified Millard, others such as Tennison, Song and Fisher techniques, we attain the best result with modified Millard technique despite other techniques gave the best result with other surgeon.
