Abstract

Fetal macrosomia constitutes a considerable problem with high incidence that faces the workers in the field of obstetrics. Sonographic examination is both sensitive and specific tool for determination of fetal weight and consequently macrosomia. Doppler indices in both the umbilical and the middle cerebral arteries, as well as the cerebroplacental ratio are not significant parameters.
