Abstract

This study was done to evaluate the indication and outcome of split thickness graft, bee honey, amniotic membrane and povidone iodine in treatment of burns. The results of our work showed that the use of split thickness graft is indicated in treatment of deep burns(third degree) with good outcome, bee honey and amniotic membrane are used in treatment of superficial burns (first and second degree burns) with favourable outcome while povidone iodine is not enough in treatment of any degree of burn as a single agent but only used in preparation of burns before any other method of treatment used.
