The past two decades there has been increased use of the endoscopewhich allows access to the maxillary sinus pathology through the nosewith the use of angled‐lens endoscopes. This advance in the endoscopecoupled with improvement of radiological modalities helps inunderstanding the radiological and the endoscopic anatomy of the PPFand identification of several landmarks to guid the approach to this area.
