There was mild improvement of the histological changes which was confirmed by the histomorphometric studies, where there were congestion, interstitial inflammatory cellular infiltration, thickening of the parietal layer of Bowman's capsule and the basement membrane of the lining cells of the proximal convoluted tubules with partial loss of their brush border and increased interstitial connective tissue.
