Unexplained infertility refers to the absence of a definable cause for a couple's failure to achieve pregnancy after 12 months of attempting conception despite a thorough evaluation. Infertility is a common problem in all population groups, and for those who are affected it can become a major tragedy and can lead to significant psychological and physical disturbances. It is important to know about the prevalence of the various factors causing infertility.
