Abstract

Childhood obesity is a growing problem affecting millions of children around the world. Methodology: 100 children were included in the study with 50 cases and 50 controls to identify risk factors of obesity among children. Results: maternal BMI, increased TV watching hours, reduced activity hours, artificial feeding, consumption of cereals and sweets and eating while watching TV were found to be risk factors of obesity.
