Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death and results from systemic arterial disease. Detection of arterial calcification may predict the possibility of future cardiovascular problems and hence mammography screening has attained a wide coverage in the recent few years so incidental finding of mammographically detected breast arterial calcification can be an additional benefit for the mammography examination to detect the cardiovascular risk patients.
