Subject & Method: This study was conducted on 212 epileptic patients, 106 Patients who still had seizure while on AEDs for at least one year and another 106 Patients who had no seizure while on AEDs for at least one year. All patients were assessed using clinical evaluation, EEG, MRI brain. Results: A statistically significance difference between both groups was obtained. Best control of epilepsy was for young age, benign epileptic syndromes with normal brain imaging, monotherapy and compliance to AEDs.
