Abstract

MRI is a valuable tool for evaluation of the patient withelbow pain, particularly in those with non localizable pain. MRI isalso helpful in sorting out the cause of pain .MRI can documentthe injury severity, which can be helpful for estimating recoverytime or in preoperative planning. By contributing to an accurateearly diagnosis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is anexcellent diagnostic imaging tool for the evaluation of soft tissueand osteochondral pathology around the elbow. Recent advancesin magnetic field strength and coil design have lead to improvedspatial resolution and superior soft tissue contrast, making it idealfor visualization of complex joint anatomy.
