Abstract

The most sensitive imaging method for detection of cancer but with limited specificity due to overlap in features of benign and malignant lesions. Its sensitivity was higher with application of guidelines concerning MRI BI-RADS category reported by Kuhl et al, 2005 than its sensitivity with application of MRI scoring system reported by Fischer et al, 1999. The sensitivity was 97.7% compared to 90.7% respectively.
