Abstract

The goal of the work was to study of the sexual desire in married females with polycystic ovarian disease.This study was carried out on eighty five married Egyptian female patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome and sixty three normal married females as control group recruited from Gynecology & Obstetrics clinic in Kasr El-Aini Hospital. For every case a full history taking, full sexual history, full general examination, full local examination was done and investigated for: serum levels of LH, FSH and Free testosterone. Pelvic ultrasound was done, Body mass index was measured. Each case was interviewed in structured interview to answer two questionnaires, first about demographic data, second about sexual desire.
