The aim of the present study was to assess the value of evaluation of endovaginal sonography and color Doppler as a screening non invasive procedures in cases of postmenopausal bleeding and to correlate the results with histopathological finding in order to discriminate between normal and pathological endometrium in attempt to reduce the number of patients in need for diagnostic curettage which is reserved only for patients at true risk of malignancy. The study has been conducted on 30 postmenopausal women, 15 cases of them with vaginal bleeding and 15 cases without bleeding.
