It was mentioned in previous studies that the supplementary use ofendoscopes during microsurgical procedures is very useful for inspectingareas not visible in the field of the microscope. It was also mentioned thatthe endoscope, with its higher magnification, better observation, andadditional illumination, can provide us with information that may not beavailable with the microscope. The study included and evaluated anumber of patients with various deeply seated pathologies at which theendoscope was used as an assistant tool during the surgery, trying toreach a result wether the endoscope was of benefit or not in managingthese pathologies.The study contained 27 patients,in 75% of patients theendoscopic use was found of beneficial with various degrees of benefit,in25% of patients was found non beneficial.
