Helminthic infections are very common in developing countries especially in rural areas. Asthma is a common diseases in childhood and more common in developed countries the relationship between helminthic infections and asthma is controversial . Most studies suggest that helminths protect against asthma and vice versa also IgE level increases with increased exposure to allergen.
