The introduction of muscle relaxants into clinical anesthesia 60 years ago has revolutionized our specialty and since that, there has been a search for better and safer neuromuscular blocking agents, withpredictable onset and duration, devoid of adverse effects. Recently, a new concept has emerged. Instead of depending on neuromuscular blocking agents with fast onset and short duration, attempts have been made to find a more efficient way to achieve reversal.
