Abstract

The present work intended to carry out the early detection of hypertensive disorders using real time PCR technique to estimate the level of free fetal DNA "ff-DNA" in maternal plasma from 20 weeks of gestation till full term. That allows one to adopt preventive strategies to avoid development of complications.48 male bearing pregnant female were included in this study, 32 as case group and 16 were normotensive and represent the control group.The study shows increased level of ff-DNA in women with hypertensive disorders and with associated placental conditions e.g. Hyperemesis gravidarum, placenta accrete.
