Abstract
Summary : The term “Coronary Artery Diseases” refers to a group of diseases that has struck fear in people’s hearts for centuries. One out of every three men and one in ten women will develop significant cardiovascular disease before age 60. The treatment of C.A.D and risk factors modification has become increasingly aggressive in recent years. Despite advances in treatment and risk factors reduction, coronary heart disease still account for the largest proportion of deaths. Depressive and anxiety disorders in patients with CAD are associated with poor psychosocial rehabilitation and increased mortality. Not only are patients with CAD at increased risk to develop depression and anxiety disorders, but patients with depressive and anxiety disorders appear to be at greater risk of developing heart disease. This study: Coronary Artery Diseases risk factors in depression and anxiety disorders is formed of 2 parts. The first is a review of literature and the second is a practical part.
