This study aims at establishing a noninvasive method of assessing tumor grade (Gleason Score) by studying the relationship between prostate cancer associated vascularity as shown on Color Doppler imaging and the tumor grade. 23 male patients with cancer prostate underwent transrectal ultrasound as well as both Doppler and power. This was followed by biopsy which was pathologically examined to detect Gleason score. The patient’s images were then processed by special computer work. Pathological findings and Gleason score were then statistically studied to detect the relation between them.
