Abstract
TEAP has proved to be a useful and highly accurate diagnostic tool in management and characterization of the various mechanisms of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardias with specificity, sensitivity and tolerability comparable to and often exceeding other noninvasive methods used in cardiology. It is a simple procedure that can be performed in outpatient settings. The aim of this research is an updated review about using the transoesophageal route as a method for minimally invasive pacing and monitoring of the heart. We aim at highlighting the merits behind using TEAP in the diagnosis and management of pediatric arrhythmias .We will also discuss its disadvantages and problems faced in pediatrics. As well, other methods of management will be compared
