Nasal obstruction is a common problem and it is nuisance to many people.The most common cause is the inferior turbinate hypertrophy. There are various techniques for reduction of hypertrophied turbinate. Recently radiofrequency device (Ellman Surgitron) is used as a new method for the reduction. The present study included 2 groups, first one included 30 patients have bilateral or unilateral nasal obstruction while the other one included 20 healthy persons, to compare the results subjectively and objectively before and after the study using visual analogue score and anterior rhinomanometry respectively. We found that (96.7%) have complete relief. We concluded that radiofrequency device (Ellman Surgitron) one of the best methods used in the treatment of nasal obstruction with less complications, less cost, rapid and easily technique
