This study involved 30 pregnant females (3rd trimester) suffering from severe preeclampsia, 15 suffering mild disease and 15 normal pregnant control. We found increase in serum triglycerides, total cholestrol, plasma fibronectin in preeclmptic women specially sever cases, this was associated with increase in uterine artery resistance index, umbilical artery resistance index, decrease in Middle cerebral artery pulsatility index. These changes affect fetal outcome in the form of decteased neonatal birth weight, apgar score after 1 and 5 minutes
