Abstract

The developments of major wound complications arouse theidea of minimally invasive methods in management of thesetypes of fractures. These methods improve the outcome andreduce the incidence of wound complications. This essaypresents and discusses the recent trends of minimal invasivetechniques in treatment of intra-articular fractures of thecalcaneus.
